Charmuu Launch Ad

As a video curation platform, Charmuu solves the problem of choosing what to watch when the world around us is saturated with content. But how can I convey this message to a target audience of young females?

With humour. First I noticed that it’s very common or online video advertisements to use a pretty model to promote an app or service. I knew I had to break this mould in order for the ad to be memorable.

Second, I wanted to exaggerate the problem of content saturation to previous generations of mass media such as radio and television.

The result is a cross-dressing man whining about content overload until he discovers an awesome service called Charmuu.
